How to Measure
1. Establish Vertical and horizontal reference lines that all measures will refer to. Usually a horizontal line along the bottom of the longest horizontal surface works best (e.g. countertop). Alternately you can use the line along the top of the kitchen cabinet as reference line. Clearly indicate the reference lines on your drawings.
2. Mark all measures clearly on the paper with respect to these reference lines.
3. Measuring Cut-Outs: If you require a cut out for an electrical outlet show the distances from the vertical and horizontal reference lines. Dimension the inside of the cut out. Cut outs will be made to exact size and location. [REMOVE THE SWITCH COVER PLATE FOR ACCURATE MEASUEMENT]
4. Please specify any variation in the dimensions with reference to the reference lines.
5. Please make sure to use only one horizontal and one vertical line for the whole drawing.
6. Either e-mail customservices@swiftcanada.com or fax [@ 604 214 4410] your rough drawings fully dimensioned and we will quote the price for you.
Example for Measuring
Wall mounting:
1. Double sided tape is provided with each backsplash as a standard feature
2. The purpose of this tape is to hold and strengthen the bond for the initial period when the glue/silicone are still drying.
3. We recommend using PL Premium Glue/Silicone to wall mount these backsplashes.
4. This "PL Premium" product is available at your home stores such as Home Depot, RONA, LOWE, etc.
